With the submission of up to eight Solidarity Fund proposals and the participation of a large part of the Goteo community, the three most voted initiatives are the following:
Thanks to everyone who participated! Here you can see the results and prioritisation of all the proposed funds.
To make the Rural Communities Fund a reality, we have defined the following steps:
1 - Matcher Search
Once the Rural Communities Fund has been prioritised by the Goteo community, we will start a search process of Matchers to give the initiative the best possible impetus, explaining what this is and how to become a Matcher. The aim is to obtain the support of financial funds that will multiply citizen contributions to the projects that will form part of the Solidarity Fund.
2 - Call for Campaigns
Once the matcher is achieved, a call is opened to the community interested in presenting their proposals, inviting them to create their project on the platform, to later form part of a unitary campaign under the name "Creation of the Rural Communities Fund".
3 - Voting of the projects
Once the call for projects has ended, the projects submitted will be made known to the community, with the implementation of a participatory process for the community to choose which ones will become part of the "Rural Communities Fund".
4 - Launch of the Rural Communities Fund Campaign
Once the projects that will form part of the Solidarity Fund have been chosen, a meeting is held with all the promoters to work on the joint campaign proposal, as well as the guidelines and commitments for dissemination. Once the campaign has been launched, the entire Goteo community is invited to participate and make their contributions.
(*) This process is scheduled to take place between June and December 2023.
