Cambios en "Fondo CulturaCoop"

The cultural sector is always precarious, but now, with covid and the crisis derived from or accentuated by this situation, it has been particularly hard on our activity. However, we have the feeling that more projects are flourishing again in all areas: publishing, music, performing arts, audiovisuals... or accompanying the existing ones: communication, technical services, catering...

In other words, although the cultural sector is affected by crises, they do not have an impact on its capacity to generate new projects. Where they do have an impact is on their sustainability, and it is in this area where we would like to have an impact.

We believe that with the creation of second-degree spaces within the world of culture, such as XEC or CulturaCoop, an opportunity is opening up to also work with structures linked to the social economy.

On the other hand, the appearance of the Cooperative Athenaeums and the Culture Circles has meant that the territorialisation of projects has also spread throughout Catalonia and we believe that it is necessary to reinforce this territorial aspect, with the capacity to finance strategic projects that can play particularly articulating roles.

Cultural projects and initiatives. We will open up the cooperative fund through existing second-degree organised spaces, such as CulturCoop, the XEC (Network of Community Spaces), Cooperative Athenaeums and the Cultural Circles. The main objective is to generate strength, resources, sustainability and independence for cultural projects linked to the SSE, with the capacity to define different annual objectives depending on the joint analysis carried out each year.

• Degree of experimentation, research and innovation of the project (up to 1.5 points)
• Methodology of work (up to 1.5 points)
• Knowledge and skills of the promoter, dynamising and technical team that will develop the project (up to 1.5 points)
• Degree of sustainability of the project (up to 1.5 points)
• Participation in mutual support networks, grassroots cultural and social spaces (up to 1 point)
• Social and/or Community Balance of the XES (up to 1 point)
• Territorial connection and links with local and/or international networks with similar projects or aims (up to 1 point)
• Gender and intercultural perspectives in the components of the team and/or in the contents of the project (up to 1 point).

Requirements:

• The projects submitted will have to be newly created.
• The projects must involve the participation of the community and local entities of the territories where the action and/or activity is carried out.
• The proposed projects must consist of cultural actions in any of the fields of social activity outside the field of school and formal education.
• The projects submitted must include in their working methodology, the participation of members of the centres, spaces and cultural centres in the roles assigned.
• The projects submitted must license the results and products with open source technologies and free licenses (Creative Commons Share Alike is recommended).
